Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum for post-blemish dark spots and pores is formulated to be gentle yet effective. Enriched with three essential ceramides, soothing niacinamide, encapsulated retinol , and liquorice root extract that helps with uneven skin tone and texture by reducing the appearance of post-blemish marks, reducing the appearance of pores, and improving overall radiance for a healthy-looking complexion. This serum for post-blemish marks and hyperpigmentation is suitable to all skin types, however,is best used on mild acne-prone, combination and oily skin types. We recommend using our Resurfacing Retinol Serum daily , to be able to optimise benefits of the product. Always ensure you wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen in the daytime when using retinol as it may increase sun sensitivity of the skin. If discomfort occurs during the first application, space out applications until skin adjusts.

1. To use the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum, start with a hydrating face cleanser such as the CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser.
2. Make sure to use an eye cream, before using 1-2 pumps of the resurfacing retinol serum and applying all over face and neck.
3. Follow with a hydrating serum such as the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum and a hydrating moisturiser such as the CeraVe Ceramides Moisturising Cream.
4. For those with oily, combination or mild acne-prone skin types, use this retinol serum for dark spots, post-blemish marks and managing excess sebum.. Use 1-2 times daily in the morning and/or evening. For those with normal, sensitive, or dry skin types, use once daily at night or every other night.
5. Note: If you are new to a chemical exfoliant such as retinol, start with application of the retinol serum a few times a week at night, moving up to daily, to help build tolerance.
6. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen while using this product.
7. Avoid contact with eyes & lips. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
